Going Walkabout
Through the Suburbs

Tells the story of how humans best care for each other based on our Feelings and Experiences, in Culture and Society, not just isolated in the atomised clinical medical system. Mixing Mystery and Wonder, Imagination and Conversation with Relationships and Discerning advice is what really helps to sustain our Social and Emotional Wellbeing.

About Robbie

Dr Robbie Lloyd has worked for over fifty years in bringing communities together for mutual care and support, shared responsibility for upholding the Common Good. He advocates for much more leadership in the care and education systems by those with Lived Experience of Difference and Diversity, and less pathological labelling by the medical system.

What is it?

What is it?

The All Fruits Theory is a practical new way for local communities to be part of a quiet revolution, to take back local control of 'the care industry.' By supporting people's health and wellbeing through choosing services that celebrate difference and diversity in consciousness, and honour multiple life experiences.

Why is it important?

Why is it important?

We need to acknowledge that  "people are all fruits - rich, sweet and vulnerable," then communities can get off the clinical medical treadmill, and let that system provide the acute care it's designed for, while we invite all ages and stages to be cared for in communities of belonging.

Conversation

Conversation

Social creatures like us need to exchange our stories continually, to know that we belong and have an identity and purpose in the group; this is how we show care for each other and acknowledge our rich difference and diversity.

Relationships

Relationships

We are not meant to be isolated into 'units of atomised care,' but to share in relationships of practically caring for each other and the Common Good of all; that's how to be fully human.

Imagination

Imagination

Without Creativity and Imagination in our daily lives, we shrink into a monoculture of dull blandness; humans are meant to create regularly, and share that joy with others in crazy different ways all the time; that's healthy living!

Discernment

Discernment

None of us is reliably wise in every event in our lives, especially as we're growing up; we need our own peers and elders to give us feedback, most importantly when we might be having a bad hair day, or be deluding ourselves; it's better to learn from our own people than being constantly told how things should be by experts.

Mystery

Mystery

The universe is built on the inspiring, spiralling energy of surprise, and we need to be regularly part of that experience to remind us that we are just a small piece of something amazing; which helps to keep our egos humble, in balance and listening for what we can learn next.

Wonder

Wonder

Humans have been described as the species whose job is to appreciate the Universe; we are conscious, reflective beings, so our role is to embrace the amazing Wonder that surrounds us; when that part of life is missing we decline into boredom, or have our attention captured by cheap social media algorithms.
